cutting and building

We started off the day with some paper cutting, and then we tried the clear water beads for the first time. We have always gotten the colored ones. The clear ones are pretty cool too!

Today, Parker decided to cut water beads.

Graham tried it too!

There are clear water beads, a clear tray, and 2 clear bowls on the light table.... but you can not see it in the pic!!

  1. I LOVE water beads, and they're very cool with the light table! Amazing sensory experiences, as usual! I featured your post at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page along with links so parents can make their own light tables: http://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow

  2. Did they ever successfully cut through them?

That looks like a cool marble run variation, especially with the light box.
