Firefly Jar & Bloopy Gloopy Black light paint

We have been having fun making cool things for black light play with the highlighter infused water that is featured in my blog post from last night

Check this video out!!

awesome!!

The firefly jar is made with clear waterbeads soaked in highlighter infused water, the liquid is  highlighter infused water, and I poured in some mod podge. When you shake and turn it in the black light, it looks like fireflies flying around!!  It looks even more vivid in person!!!!

The bloopy gloopy paint is made with the same hair gel from my post yesterday, plus the highlighter infused water, and about 1/4 cup of mod podge.

  5. The firefly jar looks great, and is really pushing me towards finally making that highlighter infused water so I can give this a try. I believe if you soak the clear beads in tonic water they will also glow in the black light, but probably not nearly as much as your "fireflies" are glowing! Thanks for sharing on our Adventures in Water Beads page :)
